Swap & Share: Building a Reuse Culture at UWS Lanarkshire
Join us for the launch of Swap & Share, a fun, community-focused project bringing reuse to life at UWS Lanarkshire!
What’s happening:
- Swap & Snack Pop-Up: Bring a gently used item (like an accessory or homeware) and swap it for something pre-loved — plus enjoy a free snack as a thank-you!
- Sustainability Corner: Discover quick tips on how sharing and reuse can reduce waste, save money, and make a difference on campus.
- Peer-Led Fun: Student volunteers will welcome you, help run the swap, and chat about reuse on campus.
Ongoing Resource:
Right after the launch, the Student Kitchen Reuse Bank will be set up in the Students’ Union. Students can donate or collect clean, reusable kitchen items such as mugs, plates, cutlery, and utensils. Perfect for new and international students, this simple system keeps useful items in circulation while saving money.
